With your HSD Fishing Contest ticket (this is your DINNER ticket as well), you’ll receive free entry to Awards Dinner catered by Blackberry Bramble BBQ and featuring award-winning Mad River Brewing Company’s microbrews. The dinner will be held at the Wharfinger Building in Eureka on Sat. Feb. 7 from 6pm to 10pm. Fishermen who have bought a HSD Fishing Contest ticket will be automatically entered to win prizes. Fishermen (with HSD ticket) who also sent in their fishing photos will be entered to win even bigger prizes as part of the photo contest!

The 2nd year of Humboldt Steelhead Days will include a extended fishing contest range from the Mad River (hatchery) in Blue Lake off the 299 to the **Eel River (catch & release) off Hwy 101 down to Leggett area.

* This two week family-fun fishing event encourages participants to get outside, learn about our watersheds, and to fish both the Mad River and the Eel River for either hatchery steelhead in the Mad, or wild steelhead in the Eel.
** Note: The Eel River is a catch & release river and the wild steelhead should be photographed in the water. Anglers should avoid taking fish out of the water if they can. Please revive your fish before releasing them.
